Lesterlin also told that they intended on having a bit more character development for Rico, saying “With Rico, we wanted to develop him a bit more as a character…we realized we needed to go back to where he was from, ask why did he become Rico? We have a bit of a genesis story. He said, “We wanted to keep it the same size, but this time keep it more on density.” He goes on to say how the current methods of game development don’t necessarily call for massive maps and that they have decided to instead focus on content over scale.
